imperfect and Proud!

I was just about to go to bed when I saw a comment from the famous "anonymous" on my previous post detailing all my imperfections; how I'm a no no without Makeup, how my chipped tooth makes me look like Dracula, how my lips are burnt like I smoked weed at some point in my life and (the one wey pain me pass) how my teeth are brown. How dare someone say my teeth are brown?! My perfectly perfect pearly white 31 and a half teeth! That's just wrong! I take care of my teeth! I brush with Closeup toothpaste (who knows who might be reading this; I just might get an endorsement deal) day and night! I eat healthy, I don't eat sweet things, no candy and definitely no smoking; tobacco or weed! (yes! I don vex). I know people say you are supposed to develop a thick skin when you become a celebrity and all (wink) but eh! I'm new to this so indulge me biko. How can Anonymous say my teeth....my own teeth... brown! Na wa o!
Jokes apart, nothing should keep you from laughing. Laugh out loud if you can. This life is too short to hold yourself back just because you don't want the various many miserable anonymous-es around you think u re ugly or u look like a Dracula. They just might still think that way if you don't do what makes you happy anyway so why bother... Never forget that. Someone somewhere loves you and your perfect imperfections. And if you are not sure who that might be, your mother is your number fan.
So Dear Anonymous, laugh out loud wherever you are. It just might save your life. Also, I'm dedicating these pictures to you..i hope it makes your week a brighter one.

Very nice Lola..i must commend your approach to this so called annonymous. People are just out there to make others miserable.just bcos their own life is in shambles..keep up the good work girl and keep smiling. Haters peace out!!
ReplyDeleteDear Miss or Mr Anonymous but im sure its the former, its normal for negative folks like you to post comments like this on a celebrated MUA and its allowed but making comments like that under the pretence of staying hidden is cowardly and unfair judgement to a very talented MUA like her, in the future(thick skin activated wayback) please bear your thoughts out in the open with your 32 and your beautiful self displayed for the many admirers of her work to compare.
ReplyDeleteOh Lola, u should know this things, insecure humans can be desperate, we strive and put in our best in this, one coward comes commenting negative, you see, I wish I had super power like u, but I don't, I just set my blog on moderate comments, so I read their comment before I approve and google poosts,had one hater commenting negative vibes on all my posts one time,like she went tru every post and commented, you see there is a difference between, Constructive criticism and insults, the first I can take, the second is a 21st century type of bullying, which I cannot take, therefore I suggest you do the same babes.xoxo...approve comments, even linda ikeji does.
