Sesi and Mosun

                                                       


Hi guys!!!
OK, I know this blog is mainly for makeup gists and tips but I'm sorry I just had to share the spectacular thing I witnessed yesterday (also, this is an avenue for me to dish out the gist and the pictures all at once because I can't keep up with the numerous pings and calls asking for gist of the engagement). Technically, I got me two new brides so that makes this qualify as a makeup gist......technically.
Anyway, so my two friends Mosun and Sesi got engaged last night at the same time, same venue (and no, not to the same guy...lol). Yesterday was Mosun's birthday, so she invited us to a private dinner for a few friends at the Oriental Hotel, Lekki. They both knew the other was gonna get engaged but they both didn't know they were each going to engaged. Ok....this is getting confusing...let me explain.









Sesi's boyfriend does not live in the country so he recruited Oyinda and Mosun to help plan a surprise engagement for Sesi via Skype. Mosun thought the best place to get it done was at her own birthday dinner were most of her friends would be around to witness it . Meanwhile Sesi and another friend of ours,Titi had been recruited by Mosun's boyfriend to make sure that Mosun's friends were present at the dinner because he was going to propose to her that night.
After we had eaten, Mosun's Boyfriend gave a speech and
popped the question. My friend Mosun was in such a shock that she shattered the champagne flute she was holding. (and i'm not exaggerating!). While we were all rejoicing and taking pictures and updating bbm pms, Lamide, another friend of our lured Sesi away to the bathroom while we quickly set the place up for Sesi's engagement. She was in such a shock when she came back from the bathroom and saw her boyfriend on the screen of the laptop, on his knees, asking her to marry him, that she attempted to run back to the bathroom. Both proposals were so romantic that it brought tears to many of our eyes especially Lamide who
couldn't stop the tears.

It was a night of so much fun, which you would see in the pictures below. The night ended at the Sip Club with even much fun (which you will not see in the pictures as that gist is not meant for this platform)
